How the Top 500 was constructed
There is no single official table of 500 Indian pharmaceutical manufacturers. The atlas separates leaders from an extended manufacturing selection while leaving licence and GMP-status verification to the regulatory databases.
| Range | Tier | Basis | Interpretation |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1–100 | FUZKK atlas leaders | Large pharma, API/CDMO, generics, vaccines and biologics | Atlas priority rather than a single official revenue ranking. |
| 101–500 | Extended manufacturing selection | IDMA principal members and manufacturing-oriented companies | Selection by manufacturing signals, scale and technological profile. |
| All positions | FUZKK fit | Product/API, Lumex, LabEx and Medical Devices | Potential applicability rather than actual deployment. |

What the atlas does not claim
- that positions 1–500 form an official revenue table;
- that IDMA membership confirms a current licence on the build date;
- that every site was individually rechecked in CDSCO SUGAM;
- that a company uses FUZKK or a specific equipment model;
- that the proposed utility set is already validated for a particular site.
